Dr. John C. Maxwell has been in professional leadership positions for over 30 years. He's focused his time and energy on doing what makes a positive impact on the lives of people.
As Dr. Maxwell traveled the world training leaders, he found people ask him one question time and time again. Leaders would ask, "if you were to take everything you've learned over the years, and boiled it down into a short list, what would it be?"
The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is his response to that question. That's what he's promised, and that's exactly what he delivers in this book. John Maxwell communicates each law clearly, and in a straight forward manner.

Hi there,
I recently attended an Attraction Marketing Formula tele-clinic where Fernando Ceballos and Ramond Fong interviewed a leading MySpace marketing expert. His name is Dennis Karganilla, creator of MLMgoldmine.
I learned a lot during this training call, but I'll give you a quick overview...
1. Grab Your Reader's Attention
The best way to do this is with a picture slide show of about 10 pictures where you are genuinely have fun. It helps if you are with a bunch of people or an interesting looking person (think rock star, Oktoberfest serving wench, Mikey Mouse, etc.). It'll help to show social proof.
2. Establish Credibility
You want to prove that you are an authority figure or expert on a topic. say something like
"Hi, my name is Jean Laurin. I am the owner and founder of www.FundedMarketingProposal.com"
or
"I'm the author of ______ report."
3. Tell A Story
People like stories, they keep people's attention.
a. Talk about your struggles - they will feel your pain
b. Talk about your solution - should be your product or business
c. Present a link so they can opt-in to your list
Basically, your myspace page is a sales page the qualifies and pre-sells your leads. I'm pretty excited about MySpace Marketing...
This is my MySpace Marketing System:

Oh, I almost forgot the most important part:

Hey there,
Just a heads-up, I've had my new website up for a while, but I recently noticed it ranks for "funded marketing proposal". That's pretty cool.
I just had a headline and an link to Attraction Marketing Formula. I guess now I should add more content and get it to rank in Google for "funded proposal" or "self funded proposal".
Self Funded Proposal for Network Marketing
I also have an attraction marketing article on there...
Attraction Marketing for Network Marketers in the Internet Age
Why Attraction Marketing Beats the Pants Off Traditional Network Marketing
To your network marketing success,
Jean Laurin
Traditional network marketing - harassing all your family and friends, cold calling played out expensive leads, approaching strangers in the grocery store - simply doesn't cut it anymore.
In fact, I wouldn't wish that kind of punishment on my worst enemy.
If you're reading this, you understand the internet is the new frontier for network marketing.
The internet enables targeted lead generation... Only leads that are interested in network marketing! You see...

I let myself get a little bit scatter-brained lately, which is good news for you, because I've have a lot of great media coming down the pipe.
1. I just set up www.FundedMarketingProposal.com , I'm pretty excited about that. There's not a lot of content right now, but I'm hosting it anyway so Google will index it and also record the "born on" date. That way, I'll have better "trusted site" status when I really need it.
The plan with this site is to host capture pages for my downline. I'll also use it pass PR to my articles, press releases, craigslist, etc.
2. I'm half way through my Google AdWords Setup Guide. I have screen shots of the set up. The "slide show with audio" will be produced in Windows Movie Maker. I've got the images in there, now all I have to do is finish the script, record the audio, and time the slides to the audio.
3. I wrote an MLM article in my notebook yesterday called "Become The 2. Hunted". That'll become a Squidoo lens by the end of the week.
4. I have a Self Funded Marketing Proposal article (rough draft) in the works. The will either become a Squidoo Lens or I'll use it as part of the content for my new website.
5. If all that isn't enough, I'm reading an ebook on people's personalities. There is a ton of great information on the likes and dislikes for each personality type, and how to mentor them in your network marketing business.
This is going to be a great skill for recruiting too. It'll be so much easier to build a relationship with prospects if you know they care most about family/relationships, or earning potential, or every single detail about your business model.
By the end of my training, I'll be able to determine a prospect's personality type within 30 seconds of talking to them. That way, I'll know what information they'll want about my network marketing business, and what information to save for the follow-ups.
I've got a lot on my plate right now, but I'll be able to get all this done by the end of the week, so stay tuned.
To your internet-network marketing success,
Jean D Laurin
Some "experts" have said email marketing is losing it's punch. To those "experts", I simply have one thing to say... "You're wrong".
Email Marketing goes hand-in-hand with other forms of web 2.0 marketing. Here's how:
Social networks, blogs, podcasts, RSS, and wikis all funnel traffic to capture pages and sales pages.
Leads opt-in to your email newsletter campaign.
In the email newsletter, you promote your product your other web 2.0 marketing tools like podcasts and social network sites.
The email newsletter keeps them in your marketing web, as do your other web 2.0 content. But they do so under one condition...
Your copy must be compelling enough to keep your prospects in your marketing web. Same goes for your emails.
Here are a few copywriting tips:
- provide great value in your content
- write in a natural copywriting style... Don't write like a college professor, write the way you speak. Be someone your prospect can relate to.
- tell a story. Give your reader a reason to read the whole thing.
- multi-part series of newsletters, blog entries, podcasts, etc. to keep them coming back for more.
That's all for now... But the point is: People are bombarded by distactions, so keep it interesting and keep it personal. And Email marketing is not dieing, you just have to use it with a little skill.
To your Email marketing success,
Jean D. Laurin

As a (green) "thinker" personality type (color), I like to analyze (and over analyze) every opportunity I'm presented with in life. Thinkers (greens) like to get all the facts before we make a decision.
I've put together a list of qualities I'd want in a network marketing opportunity for all you "thinkers" out there.
This one goes out to the engineers, scientists, accountants, and technicians:
1. At least 5 years of existence.
You don't want to get involved with a fly-by night operation. If the company has been around for more than 5 years, chances are this is a reputable business with the approval of the FTC.
2. Product Delivery Method
It's best when product are shipped directly to your customers... Unless you'd like a garage full of products where your car used to be.
3. Consumable Products
You're looking for products that are used up quickly and will be re ordered regularly. Think food, drinks, make-up, vitamins & supplements, household supplies, etc.
4. Auto-ship
Regularly scheduled delivery of the consumable products really helps. Generally, customers can opt-in or opt-out of auto-ship, but having the option is great. That way, fewer customers forget to order each month.
5. Mentors and Training
Will you have access to you upline sponsor and training systems. The average network marketers is under prepared for this industry. Many MLMers don't realize prospects don't care about your business, they only care about their own personal problems. You need to solve their (financial/time commitment) problems, not stuff a business opportunity down their throat.
6. Systems in Place
Are there any systems to help you retail products, find quality prospects, sponsor more reps? This may not be supplied by the Company, but you upline sponsor should be able to offer a system.
For example, I provide for my downline:
- online system for retailing products
- online lead generating system that also pays for advertising
- email-website-video system that builds a relationship with prospects
- more "traditional" training for contacting leads of varying personality types
Basically, everything I learned in Magnetic Sponsoring and Attraction Marketing Formula.
7. The last thing you need to do is ask yourself: "Am I willing to do what it takes to make my Internet Network Marketing Business succeed?".
If you're not willing do build your business, then don't waist your time.
To your network marketing success,
Jean D. Laurin
P.S. Although this article is dedicated to network marketing engineers, network marketing scientists, network marketing accountants and technicians, people of all personality types should look for these qualities in an MLM opportunity.
P.P.S. The "green" personality type is a reference to the "Color To Success" training CD.
